TAKE A WALK ON THE NOIR SIDE
‘Belfast is the most noir place on Earth’
– Lee Child, author of the Jack Reacher novels
We are delighted to be working with Belfast Hidden Tours on a special NOIRELAND edition of the ‘Belfast Noir’ walking tour, exploring the city’s rich history in film, TV and literature – past and present.
The hour-long tour is guided by local crime writer Simon Malton. It begins at the festival venue – the iconic Europa Hotel, which has itself appeared in crime fiction. Along the way Simon will introduce you to the ‘noir’ side of Belfast, locations that have appeared in crime literature and in acclaimed dramas like The Fall, Line of Duty and Carol Reid’s noir classic Odd Man Out.
‘Belfast Noir’ tours take place daily over the festival weekend. Each walking tour lasts approximately one hour and includes two free ‘Ulster Noir’ eBooks.
Tickets are £10 per person and spaces are limited.
